  1. My best New Years Eve was last year when we did a progressive dinner with our neighbors. We had 7 different families host (40 minutes at each house) and about 30 people attend. It was wonderful to get to spend time with all of our neighbors who we are lucky enough to also consider as friends. Despite having different backgrounds and being in different stages of life, I’m lucky to be in a community of so many nice people who are friendly, welcoming, and not judgmental. Since it’s tough driving on New Years Eve (it’s late and many people who are out are drinking) the progressive dinner where we walk house to house is a wonderful way to see friends, share the hosting (each house is responsible for one dish and drink) and get to celebrate with some great friends and a sense of community. Last year’s New Years Eve was so much fun my neighborhood decided to make it a tradition!

My BEST New Years EVER was watching my son see fireworks for the very first time 🙂

  3. Oooh I love Spumante! The best New Years I ever had was the first one I spent with my husband. We missed New Years the first year we were married because he was deployed to the Middle East (right after 9/11) so the next New Years was extra special since we were so far apart the year before.

  4. Hazel Desoto says:

NYE is always spent at our relatives house. Everyone brings a dish and wish everyone a happy new year!!

When our entire family was able to go to church together on New Year’s Eve, praying together, and then enjoying some good food afterwards.

  6. Carey says:

Wow, these drinks all sound great especially the almond one! This sounds funny but my best new years is spending it with one of my pet sitting clients at their home cuddled up in a blanket and watching some great shows. Their pet was afraid of the noise so I was there to comfort them while they were away. There was a beautiful fireplace and hot cocoa that night.

  7. Are you sure you got your list from BevMo. I can’t believe of all the Sparkling (Bubblies) that are out there that these were their picks. Spumante – are you kidding me.

The best new years eve I ever had was celebrating in downtown LA, live band, good food and crowds of people, felt like a community that day in 2012.

  9. Drew Edell says:

    Hi everyone!

Thank you so much for sharing the best New Year’s Eve you’ve ever had with us! Congratulations Heather! You have won a free bottle of dish soap!

    Happy 2016!
