I find it enjoyable when friends join me for a fun, food and movie watching, festivity and it gives me the opportunity to introduce something a bit different like these baked spicy Sriracha hot wings. They are delicious, fast and super-duper easy. I hope you also love this twist on a classic!
Ingredients – serves 2 or 4
2 lbs chicken wings
Salt & pepper
1/3 cup Sriracha
2 tablespoons of butter (less if you prefer a spicier sauce)
2 tablespoons of soy sauce
2 tablespoons of molasses
1/4 cup green onions sliced (green parts only)
>> preheat the oven to 425 degrees F
While chicken is baking, assemble the sauce. In a medium sized sauce pan, combine Sriracha, butter, soy sauce and molasses over medium heat and whisk until smooth. Bring to a simmer.
Slice the green onions – green parts only.
After 20 minutes, remove wings from the oven.
Add wings and sauce in a bowl and toss.
Place wings onto freshly lined baking sheet and return to the oven for an additional 5 to 10 minute, until glazed and cooked through. Sprinkle wings with sliced green onions and munch away!
There’s always the option of making any dish pretty. Here, I decided to put my olive wooden holder to use and stacked the wings side by side for easy grabbing.
Now, anytime you eat wings you know your hands are going to get more than a little bit messy. Grab Green Hand Soap will clean up your hands and leave them feelings soft and sauce free!
